Abstract

To realize OLEDs to operate consistently even in harsh environments such as high temperature/humidity condition or rainy weather, a highly reliable encapsulation was introduced. The encapsulation layer maintained its material properties after being stored in high temperature/humidity environment or water condition. Consequently, the OLED with encapsulation layer demonstrated its consistent opto-electronic characteristic after water immersion for 3 hours.
