title = "A comparative analysis of the luminous environment of school classrooms with different orientations",
abstract = "Use of daylight in school environments can promote healthy visual environment and increase learning performance. The main influential factor affecting the visual environment may be the window area and orientation of the classroom. A window area admits the daylight and provides view out for the teachers and students. However, if window is not properly designed, it can result in poor visual conditions and an unattractive space. The orientation of classroom is also an important factor that influences the distribution of daylight and amount of light. Therefore, it is important to investigate the luminous environment of classroom to design school facilities so that useful sunlight is penetrated.",
