Abstract

A pixel circuit composed of four thin film transistors (TFT) and two capacitors, for an active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) using a voltage source scheme, was discussed. The dependence of the output current on device parameter variation was simulated using an AIM-Spice model of a poly-Si TFT. The analysis showed that the pixel circuit was effective to provide uniform output current against the variation in the poly-Si-TFT performances.
