Actuating layer-embedded microcantilever for highly sensitive biomolecule detection

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

There has been growing interest of miniaturized mechanical system after the special talk “There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom” by Richard P. Feynman at 1959. Recent works have been shown that the biological and biomedical applications of micro-and nanotechnology have become increasingly prevalent and have found sidespread use in a wide variety of applications. As a candidate for biomolecules detection system in the future, a number of researcher keep an eye on cantilever sensor platform.
