Abstract

Recently, the simulated annealing method is being watched with keenest interest as a method of LSI layout design. The main characteristics of this method is that the global optimal solution can be determined among the many local optimal solutions by using the temperature control. However, this method have ever been applied to only the 2-dimensional layout design problems. This paper proposes and verifies a method which applies the simulated annealing method to a 3-dimensional layout design problem of the wireless unmanned submergible boat.
