Abstract
In this article, we establish the existence of type I nontopological bubbling solutions for the Einstein–Maxwell–Higgs equation in R2. Our solutions bubble at some string points and the local profile near those points comes from the radially symmetric solutions. We also prove that such bubbling solutions cannot exist on compact surfaces.
