Abstract
TCP invokes congestion control to handle packet error. In wireless-link, however packet losses are usually happened by a path loss, fading, and interference. So, TCP performance in wireless-link can not help being degraded. Various studies about this particular topic have proposed solutions for fixing such problems. This paper proposes an algorithm to improve the performance of TCP on a wireless-link supporting the bursty error handling mechanism with link layer trigger. The proposed algorithm outperforms existing one such as TCP RENO.
