Abstract

Wireless network traffic explosively increased due to the increase of smart phones, tablets and IoT devices. Network users tend to prefer free WiFi over costly cellular networks. Because of this demand, people are trying to provide WiFi services in buildings or cities. This has led to the need to manage large amounts of wireless access points. However, since the AP management protocol does not exist, it is necessary to make a correction every time, which increases the time and money costs. It uses SNMP, a UDP - based network management technique, but it is not readable and stable. To solve this problem, XML-based NETCONF appeared. However, there are difficulties in development, and there is a poor performance for use with ARM processors. Therefore, in this paper, we design and propose a program structure that can process NETCONF command at ARM based wireless access point by using lightly available RPC technique.
