Abstract

Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) dispersion in aqueous solution and organic solvents has been attained by a polymer wrapping functionalization. Randomly oriented nanotube films have been fabricated from the dispersed solution on glass substrate following the spin coating process. Optical transmittance and electrical resistivity of the formed films were measured. The dispersion quality of the treated tubes has been characterized by electron microscope techniques and Raman spectroscopy.
