Abstract

Aim: We aim to analyze the differences in perception of sarcopenia between doctors and patients. Findings: At community-based primary care clinics, both patients and doctors demonstrated inadequate awareness of sarcopenia. Significant differences were noted in their preferences for exercise and nutritional education. Message: We need to understand the differences in perception of sarcopenia between doctors and patients in order to provide better prevention and treatment of sarcopenia for patients.
