Abstract
An attempt was made to clarify the relationship between alloy compositions and the B2-R transformation in Ti-Ni alloy ribbons fabricated by melt spinning. Thin foils for TEM observations were prepared by twin-jet electropolishing in an electrolyte consisting of 95 pct acetic acid and 5 pct perchloric acid by volume. The resulting data was analyzed in detail.
