Abstract
VM placement used many areas like resource management in cloud computing environment. However, most of previous work has not guaranteed sufficient efficiency to meet user requirements such as energy efficiency and cost. Furthermore, most of the previous approaches did not consider the multi-metric according to the objective. Thus, to maximize energy efficiency, we have to consider combining decision method with Fuzzy and AHP. The simulations show that the hierarchical VM placement scheme is necessary to meet user requirement. In this paper, we proposed VM energy efficient placement (VMP) scheme based on Fuzzy-AHP system for sustainable cloud computing. Finally, we proved the efficiency of energy for the proposed scheme by using static VMP schemes.
