Abstract
Applying the Host-Dopant System to organic color conversion layers (OCCL) has resulted in a high color conversion efficiency (CCE) compared to previous commercial methods. The OCCL exhibited an impressive CCE of 123.1%, surpassing that of quantum dot (QD) conversion layer by 61.3%. Furthermore, we observed that the viewing angle characteristics of blue top-emission organic light emitting diodes (OLED) with OCCL was significantly improved due to their corrugated surface compared to the pristine top-emission OLED.
