Abstract

The ethanol sensor can be used for a range of experiments in biology, agriculture, food, and environment by measuring the rate of ethanol production by the ethanol producing enzyme and by measuring the rate of increase or decrease of the ethanol product. [1] The present study investigates the production of porous microparticles whose transparency changes according to the surrounding environment and the detection of ethanol in aqueous solution.
