Fabrication of stable CNT emitters for lighting devices

Abstract

Stable and long life electron emitter is strongly required for lighting devices applications. The high current density and long life electron emitter with carbon nanotubes were studied for lighting device application. CNT emitters with triode structure show high brightness for general lighting and x-ray sources. Detail of electron emission properties of CNT emitters and their lighting device performance will be discussed.
