Abstract

We demonstrate guided self-assembly of various polymeric microstructures with railed microfluidic channels and optofluidic maskless lithography. Using microlatch structures designed to effectively couple complementary polymeric components, we present rail-guided transportation, capturing, and caging of free-floating microparticles inside the microfluidic devices.
