Hierarchical Micro/Nanostructures for Light Harvesting and Photovoltaic Device Applications

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

Abstract

Hierarchical micro and nanostructures based on inorganic and organic materials for the manipulation of light behaviors such as reflection, transmission, scattering, etc. are demonstrated. The fabrication of the micro and nanostructures on material surfaces is performed via various manufacturing techniques, together with the design by numerical modelling and simulations. Optical properties of the fabricated micro and nanostructures are theoretically and experimentally evaluated. Eventually, the hierarchical micro and nanostructures are applied to light harvesting and photovoltaic devices to enhance their performances.
