Abstract

We report a highly efficient deep-blue thermally activated delayed fluorescence emitter, KHU-TB. The molecular structure of KHU-TB was designed by introducing rigid acceptor moiety. The rigid molecular structure improved not only photo luminescent quantum yield but also reduced exciton life time, which lead to high external quantum efficiency of 24.5%, deep-blue emission with color coordinates of (0.15, 0.15) and significantly reduced efficiency roll-off.
