Abstract

We describe the nano-texturing of transparent semiconductor oxide (TCO) materials such as titanium dioxide using pattern replication in non-wetting templates (PRINT) [1]. A variety of TCO patterns with features on a < 100 nm scale can be replicated over a > 10 cm**2 scale with PRINT in conjunction with a sol-gel route to the TCO. The calcinated product retains the original mold features and may be useful in energy conversion applications. Preliminary results with organic polymer-based photovoltaic devices will be included.
