Abstract

Triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) can convert mechanical energy to electricity based on triboelectrification and electrostatic induction. Key strategies for improving triboelectric behavior are chemical and physical surface control. In this study, we utilized a neutral beam to enhancing the contact electrification of polymer based TENG. To understand the enhancing mechanism, we investigated physical and chemical changes after NB treatment. We expected that our results could provide an efficient way to enhancing functionality of TENGs.
