New blue emitter and white OLED device in solution process and vacuum process

Abstract

The molecular design and synthesis as well as the device performance of three categorized novel organic molecules for blue will be discussed as the followings: the first one is a new core structure containing an indenopyrazine moiety. One of the synthesized materials exhibits excellent color coord inates of (0.156, 0.088) and an external quantum e fficiency of 7.18%, which are the best official-rep orted results for deep-blue OLED emitters without doping. Furthermore, white OLED device was fabricated by using new blue materials in spin-coating.
