Abstract

This review explores photo-induced multiphasic reactions in flow processes developed in the last decade, with a focus on sustainable and green synthetic methodologies in pharmaceuticals and fine chemistry. It highlights the use of light-mediated photochemistry and multiphasic reactions for eco-friendly synthesis. The integration of these processes in flow systems demonstrates potential for enhanced synergistic effects, and the review discusses examples of two-phase and three-phase reactions utilizing light as an energy source.
