N2 - We report on bone-regenerative porous microspheres surface-decorated with polyphosphate-functionalized nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HAp) that can controllably release bone morphogenetic protein-2 (BMP-2). n-HAp was immobilized onto the pore surface of microspheres and could control the loading and the release of BMP-2.
