Abstract
The lasing characteristics of asymmetrically deformed liuid jet was investigated. As such, persistent lasing modes with emission directionality for large deformation beyond which the ray optics model does not allow any resonance modes was identified. The results can be explained by the scar, the wave natures of the unstable periodic orbits in chaotic ray dynamics.
