Abstract
We analyzed a new variable all-optical buffer using semiconductor quantum dots (QD). We show that an InAs-InGaAs-GaAs QD waveguide with 20meV inhomogeneous linewidth can achieve substantial buffering with a novel unbalanced multi-wavelength pumping scheme.
