Abstract

These slopes have, thin gruss layers, and the gruss-bedrock interface is sharp. The physical and mechanical properties of gruss-soils of the shear zone were tested. Results of calculations using the infinite slope analysis indicated that the soil slips occur when a temporary perched water level nearly coincides with the ground surface. -from Authors
