Abstract

In this research, dense YSZ film was prepared by an electrostatic spray deposition method. First, macroporous YSZ/NiO (anode) disk was prepared by a press-sinter method, then thin YSZ layer was deposited on the anode disk by electrospraying precursor solutions. The surface morphology and composition of YSZ layer were analyzed by a scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) detector. The phase composition of the YSZ layer was studied by XRD. After porous LSCF layer was coated on the YSZ layer by screen printing, the SOFC cell test was performed at 800-1000C.
