Abstract
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is growing on account of virtualization and network technology's development. VDI user utilizes virtual desktop from remote place through network by using diverse device. Providing user experiment such as local desktop from remote place is one of the most important factors of VDI. Moreover, web is developing through establishing standard continuously and it is enlarged to various fields such as mailing, banking and gaming. However regular web-based VDI protocol is designed unsuitable for web environment because it implemented by expanding regular VDI protocol. Therefore, we surveyed regular webVDI protocol in this paper. And we analyzed this problem in 4 part. Regular webVDI protocol was designed by expanding VDI protocol so that it was not suitable for web environment a little bit. Hence, we have designed WARP as webVDI protocol suitable for web environment to provide improving user experience and show performance comparison with regular webVDI protocol through experiments. As a result, WARP shows possibility to improve user experience.
